HIS GmbH was established in June 2004 to found a more competent Marine Consulting and Inspection Service Company. HIS was a merger of two Marine Engineering Offices.

HIS GmbH serves the shipping and insurance industry worldwide by handling all types of surveys and inspections of hull and machinery. We are covering a wide range of various types of ships from GT 2 000 up to 45 000 tons.

Apart from standard inspections, HIS offers more individual solutions on a
time- and-trouble basis.
